Having appropriate social skills is crucial to a child’s everyday interactions. They enable the child to interact with others. To establish friendships and later develop personal and work relationships.
Assessment – Session 1.
Establishing and responding to the child’s social and emotional well-being needs. Listening to and including the child in planning goals and responding appropriately.
Practical strategies and resources – Session 2.
To support the child’s needs. Developing strengths and resilience. A range of suggested resource ideas to support children’s social situations.
