Many years ago before Gwyn was a qualified teacher of visual impairments she used to teach fashion and textiles, so she was delighted to offer her knowledge and experience fromboth these fields to this positive and important work. review from course recently delivered by Positive eye in london -
through their eyes a sensory approach for children with visual
impairments presented on the 17th march 2011
The quality of the course was excellent. The content of the course covered work with babies and pre school children. This was ideal for me and my team members as we visit children 0-5 with additional needs and their families in their own homes, setting and carrying out teaching programmes. Our Portage Nursery Nurse team support children with additional needs in nurseries. We also provide advice and support to other Early Years practitioners in working effectively with children with disabilities. Gwyn delivered the course in a lively and dynamic way using practical ideas, examples and concrete materials. She inspired me with her ideas, enthusiasm and professionalism.
